Introducing A Rather Boring And Unoriginal Individual

Despite being A Rather Boring And Unoriginal Individual, I have felt constrained to finally write something in my bloggity blog. My dear friend Prisy, The Rambling Old Maid, seems to find lots of Interesting and Very Original People on this blogsite, and so after much hesitation, deliberation, procrastination, and humming and haa-ing, I write to you in the hope of somehow, perhaps by association with aforementioned Very Original People, become a little less Insipid and a little more Interesting. Or Mysterious. I'd even be happy with Kind Of Funny, Sometimes.

Now that you know my main goal and aspiration in life, you may or may not be interested in the rest of me.

I live at home with Father Dearest, She Who Must Be Obeyed, and my favorite brother, Grey Ham. You may point out that I only have ONE brother and so it is pointless to list him as my favorite.

However, he isn't the brother that tipped my rice bubbles and milk on my head, or the brother that would get me to smack people he didn't like for him because I wouldnt get in trouble. He isn't the brother that gave me the stinky lego blocks and kept the good ones all for himself and then proceeded to destroy my lego castle and fragile 6year-old confidence. He isn't that horrible boy any more. The one who wouldn't let me have a turn playing Runescape even though his half an hour was up and the dizzer had gone because he was babysitting, and getting paid for it.

Instead, he's become the golden boy. He's the one showered with admiring looks of wonderment as he deftly types html and computer programming jargon into a small box on the screen causing miracles to happen. He's the one nobody questions when he stays out late, or all night, or all weekend. He's the one with the room full of trophies and certificates and the brain full of facts and Useful Information that proves homeschoolers are Incredibly Smart. He's the one who comes home late to find me crying in front of the computer and will stay up talking with me for another 2 hours even though its past his bed time and he's got work in the morning. The one who actually agrees to hang out with his kid sister, and even kind of likes it.

So, yeah. This new Grey Ham is definately my favorite brother.

This was supposed to be about Me, you say? Well, I am really not a whole lot more than the product of my enviroments, everyone who has influenced me, things I've been taught, things I've overheard, things I've seen and thought, Gee..that Prisy is so cool, I want to be just like her when I grow up, In fact, if I was a nice reformed baptist boy who had been to Japan and liked anime and cooking, I would marry her straight away.

And what's this crying in front of the computer? Watching sad Jonny Depp movies?
